CNR-IRSA activities related to INHABIT

Taxonomy is not a main focus of CNR-IRSA activities. Nonetheless, some results have been obtained, especially for Ephemeroptera.

As well, faunistics data on aquatic organisms are being occasionally provided, especially as a consequence of the wide geographical range covered by  projects performed in Italy and South Europe. The INHABIT project will contribute with new samples from Sardinia and Piedmont to the collection of original information on the distribution of aquatic invertebrates of rivers and lakes.
